I know Dell has the asset.com program, but will that work with anything NOT Dell? I havent tried it yet mostly because we don't build our machines with floppies.

We use Novell Netware and Zenworks has a way of tracking asset tags.

Is their a way to add it in the registry?

Basically a way to track a tower that the end-user (employee) won't even know about.

You can build your own REG key and put it in there in the registry.

I thought I was the only guy here using Netware and Zenworks.

Well +1 to the Novell crew. I don't deal with it much so the last thing I am going to say is I am familiar with it. I'm getting there though.
