Whenever i try to send an email out from outlook i get this message:

"503 valid RCPT command must precede DATA"

    and it wont send.

I can receive email fine but I can't send. Any ideas?

That's pretty odd. Basically the To: field hasn't been sent before the body of the message. Sometimes this is caused by you sending out emails without checking off the "My outbound server requires authentication" box. Usually it will restrict you to your own domain when sending without it, thus causing an invalid RCPT message. Anyway, try checking off the box and go from there.
