my knees are killing me. i'm just trying to lose 5-10 lbs. not that much. i use to run 2 miles a day.

how long do i have to stay on the elliptical to get the same or even better effect as to running? i put the resistant up to 7 and been doing it for about 25 min each workout.

Ellipticals burn more clories per hour than a treadmill.

I do the elliptical every night although it feels like more of a quad workout for me than anything :p

and thats on level 1, if I crank up the resistance its miserable.
