    * — Yes, Gabin earned just $1. We confirmed the amount with the FBAC, though MMAjunkie.com has been unable to confirm why the amount was so low.

I STRONGLY double Yves only got 6k. The man has 40 fights and was once considered the best.

In FL You gotta get paid at least $100. Jeff Monson tried to make his Pro Boxing debut for $1 (just wanted the fight) and the commission made him take $100.

Damn, Kimbo is getting his break.

And how is Yves only making 6K?!?!

    He's getting fucked.

And I think Ricco got a bit dicked too.

wtf 126 to Tank no wonder he took this fight

  9. he had a lot of losses in a row and dropped off hard. Ricco is only getting 20k and he was a champ and has a LOT more name recognition than Yves ever had.

4 or so losses not that big a deal when you got over 40 fights.

He is still like 36-13-??? thats a pretty damn good record.

and he has MUCH more recognition than Ricco. Especially more recent.

For 126K I would James Thompson him and actually try to KO him. :x:

That would pad my 401K very nicely.

seriously. Ricco may have been fighting, but most MMA fans have only been around for 1 to 3 years. In that time frame Ricco has had virtually no exposure. Lots of the TUF 1 - 3 fans more than likely have seen Yves fight and would recognize him.

I'm one of those fans that just got into it a few years ago but I knew more about Ricco than I did about Yves but I would say that has to due with the Vh1 show he is on.
