interesting characters in all the Star Trek series'.

I cannot take the my eyes off the screen whenever he is on, and I'm about to buy Andrew Robinson's (who played Garak) book entitled "A Snitch in Time" about Garak's life after the Dominion was defeated.

Any Garak love around here?

i also found his character to be very interesting. you knew he had the secret agent background but you never knew how deep.

yeah, i always found him amusing. not real "ha ha that's hilarious", more of a sly wit. that one look he gave to people, just priceless. hard to describe it.

In fo sho! Garak is without a doubt the best recurring character on DS9, and in fact better than a lot of the regular cast. The only character in any of star trek that even comes close to Garak is Q.

In fact, Garak is one of the best written, most interesting, and most complex characters in all of science fiction.

I  the episode where Ezri tries to help him overcome the claustrophobia.

Oh man, so much depth to his character.

That was on spike TV last week.

My favorite is when Garak tricks the Romulans into the war under Sisko's auspices.

"You came to me because you knew I could do the things you couldn't; the things that had to be done! That's exactly why you came to me, and you knew exactly what I would do." (not an exact quote)

Screw the romulans. Selfish greedy bastards. They were too stupid to fight the dominion, so they had to be tricked. I wouldn't regret it a bit.

I have the DVR recording all the spike episodes. It's great to come home to after a long day's work.
