    does anybody have a set?

i've got some infinity reference 6.5" components and am looking to upgrade.

i like crisp highs and decent (not loads) of midrange. the infinitys seem to distort easily at not even high volumes and don't really provide much low end (as much as one could get out of a 6.5).

just wondering what OT thought of eD components.

a good load of peeps on here dont like eD, a lot of that has to do with bad customer service and the attitudes of their employees

on the other hand there have been a lot of pleased eD customers, id say their subs are their primary interest for customers

    :dunno:

he'll go into detail about their shady business practices, nothing to do with actual current product offerings :)

Their current lineup is nothing but mediocre. Good for the money is the only thing that comes to mind.

Ben Milne (Yes I've talk to him QUITE a few times, owned their products before, used to call him personally), STILL has not proven he can run a respectable business.

He has burned MANY bridges, had more than half a dozen build houses, sells rebadgeD products, takes money for product he doesn't even have yet, not to mention their forum (even under the general section) is a Nazi stronghold with the most censorship I've seen since that era. If anyone tells of an experience that isn't positive... their post it immediately deleted and they are banned.

eDuh Is just a joke, if you feel like dealing with the most shady business I've ever personally experienced, then go for it.

    Oh well.

i've kind of changed my mind, i think i'm going to go with diamond HEX 6.5's for my components due to the fact that they have a shallower mounting depth.

wrx fronts are hard to fit w/o fucking w/ the window.

i was looking at a 10" O series eD, though. i had an old 12" K and thought it was decent.

what subs are comparable to the 10" O around the same price?

O probably more along the lines of the ID series, just maybe a tiny bit more output.. older eD subs are nice. I wouldn't buy a new one... I got an e15a :)

I owned some old school eD 12k's, the e-logo style... as well as an eD 8a. Loved both of them.

Installed/had experience with the 12Kx's, the 10Kflat cones, and the new Kv2's... and... they were mediocre. Just "okay" products.

They're just shady that's all. Oh well.
