Printing out pics FTW. I love looking at them on paper rather than on my screen all the time. I printed a few a couple of weeks ago and loved how they came out. [IMG]

honestly, I'm really not sure just how many of these will ever get framed.

Yeah, I agree, it would look like ass in a frame. It'll be something I take into consideration when I take orders.

Personally I don't like the images w/o some sort of border to 'contain' it all, mainly with the differences in Light/Dark between the top and bottom edges. If it goes in a frame then it'll take care of that.

Buddy and I did some talking when looking at the prints last night - may modify the border and add some text.

either way, like I say, I highly doubt more than one or two of the next half dozen prints will go in frames.

The way I look at it, Is if you don't like something about it, or ruin it somehow, it's only like $20 to replace :bigok:

  19. what size are they and what did you use to take the pics. :x:

    20" x 30"

taken with my 30D and Tamron 28-75 f2.8.

Paper quality on these things ROCK!

Showed these to a professor who used to work in print, now teaches multimedia development stuff on campus and he couldn't believe how well they came out and didn't believe they were printed from a jpeg until I showed him the file I sent Elco.

They are optically exposed onto photo paper, and then developed in RA-4, unlike the inkjet prints most places do...

I am a regular customer, with an order every 1.5 weeks or so. NEVER had a problem with them or quality. You would think that with all the spelling and grammar errors on their site, they would not be that good, but the opposite is true.

Cant beat them for the prices either... $1.65 for a 10x15 optical print, $9.99 for a 10x30" print, etc.

I have literally orderd a couple hundred prints from them, and have not had a single problem.
