    How many eggs do you guys eat, on average, per week?

    At the mo i'm eating 1 full egg + 1 egg white for breakfast (among other things). I'm thinking of moving towards 4 egg whites per day instead.

    Am I asking for a heart attack, or high cholesterol?

    My overall goal is high general fitness, low-moderate body fat, and increased muscle mass.

    you'll be fine. if you worry about it, buy some egg whites.

    I eat probably 4-5 a day

    1-2 whole per day.
    there are bodybuilders that eat a dozen+ a day:eek3:

    Breakfast for me is usually 4 whole eggs and a cup of oatmeal. Sometimes throw a shake in too. And to save time and dishes I sometimes just throw the oatmeal in the eggs and once its cooked its kind of like an egg oatmeal pancake :bigthumb:

    I have a good 20-30 servings of egg whites a week. yesterday I had 10 servings, I love eggs.

    what is so bad about the yolk?? I kinda forgot...is it the cholestorl?

    nothing that bad actually. It's high in fat (high in calorie by default) has alot of cholestorl and sat fat, but I read something about how it has some other good qualities to it. My wife wont eat yokes though so I just buy the big cartons of egg whites, it's like 15 servings for $2

    i try and eat em, but am to lazy to make em in teh AM. I did have three for breakfast today on a wheat bagel, with a peach. Then for dinner I had 4 with sauteed peppers onions and 6 shrimp. some rice and a salad.

    1 whole + 1 white + 2 slices wholemeal bread + 1tbsp honey
    ~250ml V8 juice

    dunno what else I can cram in there for hte morning... cooking takes up so much time

    6 eggs
    1/2 Cup of cheese
    4 slices of bread
    And i'm still starving :hs:

    Do the cartons of egg whites taste any different?

    80% of your cholesterol comes from your own genetics and only 20% is from your diet. Theres only so much you can do from your diet so a few measily eggs in the morning are not going to significantly increase/decrease your chances of a heart attack unless you're already pre-disposed to high cholesterol.

    bout 10-12 eggwhites on weekdays (when i train), so like 50 a week. Wash em down with a protein shake.

    All this talk bout cholesterol ohno

    Generally about 8-10 whites and one whole everyday.

    That comes out to about 60-70 whites a week and 7 whole a week or so.

    Costco's 36egg carton that costs $2.19 FTMFW!

    usually 4 a day when i do eat them. with cheese and salsa :eek3:

    scrambled eggs are done in like 30 seconds on the foreman grill :bowdown:

    Do you at least wash your eggs before cracking them open for the egg whites? Then toss the yolks away? For guys taking 10 egg whites a day, you add them raw into your protein shakes, and guzzle it down? I eat them whole. Don't want to waste the tasty yolk.

    People usually get carton egg whites. It'd be a pain in the ass to get 10 egg whites by cracking them up and putting the yolk away. It's just another way to get plenty of protein.
