wendler was saying somethign about how much weight one day, you can put 25's on it, so, over 100 punds..
I am guessing it is around 22" length to length... basically, if it is 2" wide, take a ruler measure how ide it is on the computer screen, then measure how long it is on the computer screen, devide length by width and multiply by two, and bam thats a rough estimate of length.

I have those, you can only put 6 10's per side. You could put 25's on it if you want. Ironmind make longer handles though - http://www6.mailordercentral.com/ironmind/prodinfo.asp?number=1224

I just ordered these things but they are kinda pricey: http://www.powershack.net/Products/PowerShackEquipment/PowerShack_net20-190.htm

that 2nd one makes me wanna have a home gym

I might go with those iron mind ones, would a regular collar hold onto the weight strongly? I'm scared of those bastards falling off

btw, how do 25 lb plates feel on there? Are they too big? I'd feel liek a tool gathering up over 28 10 lb plates to go do some db benching

I wouldnt see how they would be too bad, they are not that much larger than 10's
if you are doing DB bench or DB presses, it would probably not be that bad, same with rows...

Yep. It's the 35's that start to get really awkward. :hs:

I got to thnking... wrist weights? I mean, they go up to 1-20 lbs (removable weights, each one weighs 1 lb) and it'd be a much cheaper route... u guys think that would work?

basically you get the bands, put them behind your back, and in your palms like you would hold a dumbell, and you grab dumbells, and do the press, i was using two minis, and i could only do like the 60's for 5 reps, you could get a light band and try them like that...

they don't really give you much tension at the bottom of a db press though

I haven't had any problems with plates coming loose but it scares me too, that's why I bought the powershack dbs instead of buying longer ironmind handles.
