ethanol will bind to receptor sites for up to 72 hours. Those receptor sites would have bound to testosterone otherwise. So yeah, if you are at all serious, you won't drink more than once a month or so. The worst thing to do is to have a few beers every night. If you are going to drink, binge.

I stopped drinking about a month and a half ago and have been able to bulk up another 15lbs, and feel great. Only people with a weak mind need to drink just because other people are.

not really trying to argue, but isn't liver disease more associated with chronic alcohol abuse?

Actually, you're right. The only way I think alcohol could hurt your kidneys would be if you drank it quite a bit and in turn you might have high blood pressure which is a cause of kidney disease. I meant liver, though. :o

as long as your not getting banged up every night your fine. I get pretty tore up and get into the gym the next day and have had good results. Many time's i've gotten into the gym after a hard night of drinkin and have acctually had more power then the previous week.

If you drink, you better sure as shit have a sound diet, or only 2 senarios will occur
    #1 your gonna get skinny
    #2 yoru gonna get fat

I maintain perfect diet habbits on my lifting days, loosen up a little on my off days...How well your diet is put together determins what your body will do when you drink.
