effects of 420 on regular exercise

    been smoking almost 5-6 nights a week and lifting about the same in the afternoon. should i notice any changes in my strength? body weight? what do you guys think?

    well since its smoke which is bad for your lungs, you'll be shorter of breath then you would be if you didn't

    some studies have shown increased estrogen in men from marijuana which could slow down any gains, but other studies have shown no correlation so its up in the air right now

    since it gives you the munchies, its good for bulking but not so good if you're cutting


    that all being said, there are some big strong motherfuckers who smoke so if you're dedicated like they are, you should be able to achieve your goals, it might just take a bit longer then if you didn't smoke

    yea i get some serious muchies, but my weight has pretty much stayed the same.

    I smoke nightly after the gym, better than drinking in terms of impact. Munchies are easily controlled, I just drink water or diet soda. Gotta get fucked up somehow :o

    Hasn't affected any gains for me.

    If you can control your munchies...I think it's fine.

    Problem for me is that I've always felt like a lazy piece of shit when I've smoked.

    I don't pretend to know what pot does to people physiologically. But 5-6 nights a week, WTF, too much of anything can be bad, it is your life, do what you will with it.

    i have a tendency to eat a shit ton while :420: but other than that it hasnt effected me

    yeah, if I know I'm gonna start munching, I just force myself to grill chicken breasts and eat those with sauce, how much damage can I do... I'm only 150 lbs, but I've killed entire large bags of Doritos at a time, along with other stuff, drinks, etc... easy to hit 2000+ cal in a night.

    Now THAT'S a hangover... feel like a bag of ass in the morning. :rofl:

    yea i usually eat a lot, but i try to keep the junk food on hold. Last night though, i had like a whole thing of rice cakes and a shit load of ice cream

    If it affects adversly in terms of dedication and munchies, its probably best to stay away from it.

    If you just started smoking you should know that the latter problems I just mentioned WILL arise. Just control yourself and it can only beneficiary. One of my favorite things is getting the post-work out nutrition out of the way, showering, then sitting back in my robe and smoking a bowl.

    oh yea, get a robe too...

    you should notice slight strength increases, a side effect caused by an increasing calorie intake before you pass the fuck out.

    90% of all bb'ers pros as well do weed, coke, opiates, etc. Doesnt mean you should but it really isnt gonna make or break (weed anyway) but do watch out if your on juice or ph's because weed can make gyno very bad.

    as a 5 year daily weed smoker i can tell you of my own personal experiences

    mental focus while on herb down, while off much more clear and driven
    gyno on herb increased in size, gyno off of herb for 4 weeks + aifm = going down

    strength off of herb has been going up stacked with aifm
    diet cleans up when you arent junking out while on herb

    imo, if u want to be more serious about lifting weights or body building, stay away from herb and alcohol

    to nullify effects on stamina and lungs, making tree an almost harmless drug,

    just use a vaporizer!
