hopefully I'll get some responses here :)

I'm doing a custom lighting job on my motorcycle, and need to set up a few seconds of delay before the main headlight (which comes on automatically) gets it's power. I guess I'm looking for the correct relay that, once it receives the input 12v, will wait a few secs, and pass the 12v after that until it loses power (i.e. the bike is turned off). Anyone know what I can use for this application? Sorry, not an EE major :)

    thanks,
    Drew

another question, is there a relay available that will continue to provide voltage out after the input signal is received, even if the input signal goes away? and only stop providing voltage out once the voltage in is gone?

i.e. it only needs to be told to turn on once, and stays on until input voltage is gone.

sorry, i'm sure this is very elementary for some of you, but it's not my field at all! :)
