I gotta admit, I would never have imagined Norton as Banner, but I'm still really excited. Norton is one of my favorite actors, along with the director of Unleashed (awesome movie if you haven't seen it, Jet Li and Bob Hoskins star) I think this movie will easily surpass the last Hulk flick.

Also, I saw nothing about this, so excuse me if it's old.

the movie was great when hulk smashed...but bana was kinda boring.

this should be more along the roots of the hulk...which should be alot more interesting and entertaining then bana hopping around one place to another.

Norton is a good actor but the last Hulk movie failed horribly, it was boring and stupid.

I hated Unleashed, hopefully this turns out to be better. Norton is the man though, so he'll make it good

NORTON IS A GENIUS ACTOR! Penn had a point when he mentioned that Norton in Fight Club was playing the part of Bruce and Tyler was the Hulk in him. I am excited for the new interpretation on a great story.

thats what I am worried about too, but the story from what I have gathered is that hes running away to find a cure while the government tries to bring him down. Needless to say huge army vs hulk scene again.

I could videotape myself taking a dump on a copy of that fucking movie and it would probably be better than watching hulk over again.

I am happy about this too. First thing I thought was that scene were all the rage starts boiling up in Jack, and he punches himself in the face.

Im more worried about the guy that directed Transporter one oh and also Transporter 2. The only good thing in those movies were the car chases and the assassin chick.

I didn't see anything about it being connected to the previous film...is it a sequel, or more of a "sorry, lets make it up to you and bring in Edward Norton!"

I was very excitied when I heard Ed Norton had signed on to play Bruce Banner in the upcoming "The Incredible Hulk". As I believe he definately is more in line with how Banner is presented in the comics than Bana who was a bit too big for the role I felt. And although I liked Bana's performance, I view the casting of Norton as a great alternative.

As far as this being a sequel, the writer of the film gave an interview with WIZARD magazine a few months back and said that although TIH wouldnt be a direct sequel to Ang Lee's HULK, the film also wouldnt be a complete reboot either. Even mentioning that he may throw in a few references to the film for the fans who enjoyed the first movie. But thats about it, as TIH's tone would be greatly different than the overly serious Ang Lee version.

Either way, I'm definately looking forward to this one! Now if they can only bring back Jennifer Connelly, and Sam Elliot.....

Oh God, I HATED Jennifer Connelly in that movie. The character, her acting, everything about her in the movie sucked. Sam Elliot, however, is a pimp and should return.

    Eric Bana is way hot.
    Jennifer Connelly is a goddess.
Ang Lee's film sucked even though he's an amazing director.

i don't know about Louis Leterrier, though he does seem be good with the visuals but doesn't seem to ever have good storylines to work with.
Norton would be the best actor to play Hulk, imo. plays the nerd well and plays rage well. i don't see how they can have a hulk-out session that isn't 100% cheesy on film though. i just can't EVER see that working out.

they must've not caught on that he sucks. that or they needed a budget-writer so they could add sweet-ass visuals instead of having a good script.
