I got my upper and the lower should be here next week along with the mags and BUIS.

Now I want to completely tear down the rifle and clean and inspect everything to see how it works. Are there any online guides or a .pdf or something anyone knows of for the AR dissasembly?

I just like to tinker and know how stuff works. :hs:

Standard CAR upper (i like the non m-4 barrel) with M4/R4 hand guards and chrome lined.

check Arfcom in the cleaning and mantenance section there are some guides for field stripping, that should get you started.

Did you get a bolt carrier group as well?

Check out ar15.com there is a ton of info there. Lots of guides.

    Yessir I did.

I actually got it off of a arfcom dealer. I just didn't think about using the site for anything other than the EE lol.

Pretty much stripped down already as far as you need to do it for any cleaning, seperate upper and lower, remove b/c/ch seperate bolt and carrier and its all ready for cleaning, only thing left you could do is take the handguards off which you really dont need to do. If you dont find everything you need on arfcom I got a pdf of the army m16 manual somewhere I'll send you, think its saved on my other PC have to throw the PS in it quick first :o

That would be sweet. You could just torrent it or something depending on how big it is. arfcom is proving to be educational though. :wiggle:
