Was just looking through some of my old notes and stumbled upon some methods that I never really used since I'm mainly sticking to the blackhat side of things...but this should help some of you with legit sites...

    1. Go download some sort of firefox plugin that shows page rank in the SERPS.

    http://tools.seobook.com/firefox/seo-for-firefox.html

    One of many ^^

    2. Head over to google... Say your site niche is dog food...or your article you want to promote is dog food. Enter in a search query something like this...

    dog food site:digg.com

    http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=dog+food+site%3Adigg.com&btnG=Google+Search&aq=f&oq=

Now you're only getting results that are from digg with dog food as a subject, or at least related. Take a look with your seo plug in and check out the page ranks of the results, note the higher PR results...save the links into a text file.

I used to save them based on keyword...say I was promoting a pair of sunglasses I wrote a review on, I would find 5-6 good digg pages for those glasses and save them into a text file. (Get and use MS OneNote, it's fuckin WIN)

    3. Write up a quick post that wraps your site/page/link you want to post to the topic of the digg page...post it with your link. 1 post per digg page, you go overboard and they'll get voted down and you lose the link.

Use your imagination a bit and you can get HUNDREDS if not thousands of quality, targetted niche related links. If you want to go for broke you can think of some non related topics on something that might be really popular on digg (politics, marijuana) and find some great pr6-7 pages to link farm...just be careful of the digg nazis.

Oh yea, here's a list of social sites that don't use nofollow, go wild. Digg isn't the only game in town, there's the additional social sites as well as random blogs/guestbooks etc.
