A&P edu on how to clean a camera?

    i noticed i have dust/fuzzz in my camera.

    i blew on it a little and the dust came off :naughty: whats the correct way to do it?

    depends on who you ask. theres all kinds of differnt ways.

    theres ways that involve building up static to pull it up so you don't scratch anything, but that could ruin the internals and isn't 100% effective.

    Theres ways that involve swabs and a small amount of cleaning solution, but you can see how that would be bad.

    You can blow it out with air (no compressed air cans that leave moisture ( most of them).

    you can get reverse blowers that suck it off the sensor

    send it to canon/nikon and hope they have somebody good working and be very patient.

    take it back to costco and get a new one :noes:

    they have dust on the sensor out of the box ftl!
