I thought I should make this since there are a lot of people who don't know how easy and useful anidb is! I will update this a lot, so check out the this post.
    • First, this is what you can do with anidb:
    • Find out when episodes were released.
    • Find out who subbed/dubbed/dvd-ripped them and which language's and sub-languages were used.
    • Find out statistics of groups.
    • And a lot more.
    The most important aspects are:
How to mass add episodes in seconds!
First you need to sign up then after you have signed up search for an anime.
Say you searched for bleach, then you get a page like this:
    http://anidb.info/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=animelist&adb.search=bleach

Now at the bottom of the page is something called Export ED2K Hasheswhich you click. And you get a page like this:
    http://anidb.info/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=ed2kexport&aid=2369&nonav=1

Now go down to the fansubs/dvd-rip releases you used. Say i used Bleach Society then I will go and copy this:
Now go to ed2kdump in the sidebar: http://anidb.info/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=ed2kdump

And paste that list splitting it up at 50 episodes, since you can add only 50 episodes at a time. Then enter the data at the buttom and Click ADD!

Now you have successfully added a massive amount of episodes with minimal ease.

    Version: 0.01
    Next Update: 2nd February 2006
    To Do List:
    - AniDB O'Matic [http://www.anidb.net/wiki/index.php?title=AOM]
    - How to find files and download them via IRC.
    - And more...
