I have some pics where the time was set wrong on my camera. I found the Edit Capture Time area in Lightroom 2, but it doesn't actually change the time on the file. How do I have it save the time to the JPG/RAW?

I was under the impression that especially with Nikon RAW files, you couldn't change any metadata on the RAW file? :dunno: Hence for forensic work, they use Nikon.

I think it's an option on certain nikon cameras to secure the meta data.

I have Lightroom set to import files where they are and not move them. If I look at the 'modified' date in OS X it's 12 hours off from the time it should be. When I change said time in Lightroom, the modified/created date when I look at the info in OS X hasn't changed.

I'd like it to change to the time I set.
