Ectomorph looking for help!

    This topic has probably been discussed a million times.. but here's my dillema.

    I have recently joined a 24 hour fitness gym. I'm a 6'2" ectomorph that weighs 180. My arms and chest are thin but my stomach is starting to portrude past my chest. I used to play tennis a lot and was in good shape for a skinny guy.

    Now I want to lose the stomach and gain some upper body mass. Can anyone suggest some solo exercises I can do at an average 24-hour fitness gym?

    thats the plan... but any suggestions on how i lose my stomach fat and gain upperbody at the same time?

    I run and play tennis.. legs and calves are in great shape

    your stomach pushing out.... at 6'2" 180.... is probably due to kyphotic spinal postures, although I doubt you're all cut up anyway considering you think of yourself as out of shape, and every stick-figure with abs showing thinks they're in the best shape possible....



    but yeah, hit the gym, eat a lot of food. I'm in a similar situation, was 6'4" 183 a couple months ago.. been lifting and eating for about 7 weeks or so and I already see a big difference... my legs are filling out, upper body is growing some, and I'm gaining an ok amount of strength.

    Weigh about 188-190 now (still skinny as fuck), and my bf% hasn't made any drastic increase.

    Good news... I must have been off on my base weight. After 2.5 weeks of high intensity workouts, 4k calorie diet, and creatine loading I'm up to 192lbs. My target bulk weight is 210. I'm 6'2"

    Here are some of my maxes for lifts...

    Incline benchpress = 135lb :(
    Squat = 215lb
    Leg press = 315lb
    Flat benchpress = 150lb

    I haven't done any other free weight exercises, everything else is supplemented by belt-driven weight machines

    150lbs for the bench press is pretty decent. Iv been doing it for 4 months, im only up to 120lbs (6'3' currently 157lbs). Keep going with the diet.

    I doesnt matter if you are an Ectomorph, the formula is the same for everyone who wants to gain muscle: eat and lift. If you wish to lose weight, then consume less calories than it takes to maintain your weight...weather its through excersises or dieting.

    im working on it... eating big and lifting big... i just hope I dont hurt anything.. I'm still young but I already feel the effects of lifting big... my leg workouts make it hard for me to go up stairs

    Did some fucking article just recently come out with the word ectomorph in it? I swear to fucking god only within the last 3 months have people been coming on here crying about it. I'm changing the defintion of ectomorph. It now means undescended testicles.
