    I started EC on Monday. Bronkaid and Jet-Alert (25mg E, 200mg C)

Day one: .5E and .5C -- nothing. No increase in heart rate, no extra energy...nothing.

Day two: 1E and 1C in the AM, .5E and .5C prior to my workout -- nothing.

Day three (today): 1E and 1C at ~7am -- so far nothing. I'm going to take another full dose before the gym at around 3:30pm and see how I feel.

Anyone set PR's while on a cut as counter-intuitive as that is? At the end of my bulk I had a deadlift PR of 370 and was hoping to hit 400 before I started my cut. 2 weeks into my cut (~5 weeks ago) I hit a PR of 375. Yesterday I hit a PR of 385. At this rate, I'll get that 400 deadlift during my cut  Either way, I'm happy that I'm deadlifting more than 2x my body weight. [email protected] :wiggle:

Maybe the EC is working even though I don't feel any different :dunno:

I maintained my calories, dropped weight, and increased my deadlift PR by 90 lbs and bench by 20 lbs. So yes, it is possible.

    What's an EC stack?

That's awesome that you managed to get that much stronger while losing weight. What do you think attributed to it?

    Ephedrine + caffeine.

As simple as it may sound, I attributed my gains to lifting weights but for my deadlift, it was lot of form correction.

    what a concept.

+1 on the deadlift though. Got a good gain after i stopped, dropped the weight and focused on form.

I think heart rate is more popular because its easier to track. :o

Noted. I do get the beginnings of a mild headache for the first 30 minutes or so after I take it, so I'm guessing my blood pressure does increase.

    :werd:

Yup...I remember not too long ago when I wanted to hit 315 :noes:

what do you mean by .5 E and 1 E? you talking about 1 pill?

list the mg's you take... should be going 25mg/200caffeine 3x per day (i usually stay around 50 to 60mg E/400mg caffeine b/c i'm really sensitive to it

and yes - many people get stronger/add muscle while losing bodyfat. It's not that hard to do anymore with all the supps/knowledge out there. Cutler actually puts on a lot of size when he diets down.

However - the closer you get to a show (talking 5 week range) the harder it is to add... most likely you will just be fighting to maintain at this level.

If you have proper diet/supps/training/rest then you can do it (this takes a lot of experience/knowledge/knowing your body though)

    1E = 25mg
    1C = 200mg

    So .5E = .125mg and .5C = 100mg.

I took 25mg of E and 200mg of C twice today. I still don't feel anything other than the beginnings of a mild headache (slight throbbing in my head) for a little while, which passes with time.

are you taking them on an empty stomach and not eating shortly afterward?

do you usually intake caffeine (pre ephedrine)? if so how much?

try going up to 75mg/600mg... some people just don't respond well

also - 25mg of Ephedrine sulfate (bronkaid kind) is ~19mg of Ephedrine HCl

Bronkaid's ingredient list says Ephedrine HCL for the ingredients :dunno:

In the morning, I wake up and have the EC after I eat an egg. I thought it might agitate my stomach if I take it on an empty stomach. In the afternoon I usually have the EC with some peanut butter. I'll try taking them on an empty stomach and not eating for ~30 minutes after.

I don't have any caffeine aside from the EC.

It's actually better to take it on an empty stomach. Just make sure you eat 15-30min after taking it. That is one of the best things about E. You can be fucking starving and ready to eat half the kitchen and then you take the E and all you have an apetite for are some egg whites and toast, lol.

Maybe I am just sensitive to it.

After a week it was much easier to eat, but my first week I was doing 25mg E and 200mg C twice a day and I was having trouble getting in even 1,500 cals.

The second week I hit my target of 2,000 cals pretty easily though.

Same...I'd actually go as far as saying my appetite has increased while taking EC.

    Started EC stack again today.

Gonna do 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off for 2 months, or 2 cycles.

Doing this with Mono creatine this time around I imagine I am going to have to drink insane fucking amounts of water.

    brokaid is ephedrine hcl sulfate
    http://www.amazon.com/Bronkaid-Caplets-60/dp/B000FVY4BA

try taking them on an empty stomach (right when you wake up, then you can eat 15-30mins later, and just inbtwn meals later in the day)... food somehow interferes with ephedrine.

you may wanna try doing a yohimbine/caffeine stack on the 2 weeks your not taking in ephedrine (dont take them together at first... it will make your heart really speed up). But make sure to take a break from caffeine use every ~8-12 weeks or so (I take a break on the weeks i take off from lifting to let my body recover) or else you could risk getting adrenal fatigue (look it up)

Is hcl sulfate different? Should I be taking more?

I took them on an empty stomach this morning and again just now. This morning I started to sweat at work (granted it was hot, but I was really sweating), so I'm assuming it's doing something.

25mg of sulfate = 19mg of the real ephedrine hcl... I'd take 1.5 pills 2x then bump it up to 3.5, then 4 (depending on how you respond).

It seems like you're not really responding to ephedrine/caffeine. Some ppl just plain dont respond, sucks for you b/c when I take it I feel like I can fly. It's like only 2 steps below a serious adrenaline rush for me when i'm on EC.. maybe its b/c i NEVER have caffeine throughout the rest of the year and only do this for ~15 weeks total?

i agree. it is much easier however at a lower level of strength... for example if you are trying to pull 405 while dieting thats not nearly as difficult as trying to pull 750 while dieting. just sayin.. so basicallyf or most F&N yes you can become stronger while dieting.
