Shit's all on sale. GHWT and RB2 for 94.99, I might have to pick up RB2 for that price.

ZOMG which one should I get? I liked Rock Band last generation, but I have a weird feeling I might like GHWT better this time around. :dunno:

Time to look at track lists.

Are both games compatible with both instrument sets?

I kind of like how the GH drums are soft but I've only tried them in the store. I also like how the guitar clicks when you strum (not sure if the one in world tour does).

I think the sync feature on the RB2 guitar will sell me on that though, does it work well?

    yes

platform-wise, personally i prefer Rockband over Guitar Hero. Rockband1 and the track-packs export into Rockband2 plus tons more DLC available. it's also nice knowing eventually when Rockband3 comes out, all my Rockband1/2/DLC will probably export into that as well.

hardware-wise, i actually prefer my GH3 Les Paul but the RB2 guitar is growing on me. haven't tried the GH drums so i can't comment on that though i hear it's hit-or-miss whether you get a reliable working set

Music games are sooo yesterday. Only good for drunk parties where everyone is either drunk or stoned. Otherwise they get boring fast.
