I'm looking at getting either an Alpine or Pioneer Premier deck soon, and I'm going to need to buy an adapter (IP Bus, Ai Net) for an aux input..

I've noticed that there are 2 types of products on ebay.. the real thing from the manufacturer, or a cheaper "knock off" adapter..

Does anyone know if these cheaper knock offs are anywhere near the same quality? Is it best to avoid them or are they a good deal?

I'm not sure of quality differences, but what is the price difference?

I've seen the 3rd party ones go from $10-$15... the ones from the manufactuerer are usually $20-$30.. im not sure what you would buy one from a retailer.. probably like $35..

Id get the cheaper thing. If it doesn't work, your out 10 bucks, and you need to get the real thing. Chances are its all the same.
