    In September I weighed in at 145. I tried all school year to gain weight. I was on the cycling team so I certainly didn't get broly but now I'm 165. I would like to gain another 15 this summer. I know I need to eat like crazy but does anyone have any tricks to eat more and feel hungrier? I've been trying to eat more but I just feel sick to my stomach and tired. Yesterday I threw up at lunch from eating only about 800 calories. What should I try?

    Don't drink until after your meal and increase your carb intake.

    I couple of years ago I would have thrown up after eating that much. That being said I only ate about a 1000 calories a day and weighed 120 or so.

    spread out the meals, i do 600+ calories every 3 hours to stay lean, and i stay hungry as fuck throughout the day. but i'm also 6'3" and have a retarded metabolism/workout schedule

    eat until you throw up when you burp
    also peanut butter which pur mentioned and its perfect!
    eat like a spoonful of PB every hour lol

    I always wondered medically what makes certain people be able to eat more, or why some people eat faster than others. I know lots of skinny guys that can eat a ridiculous amount and some that eat like anorexics. Hormones, stomach size?

    I said medically, not secondary contributors to why people eat more or less.

    you had to have been killing yourself slowly doing that. Even when I weighed 155 at 6'4" and ran cross country I still ate more than that. I look back at that stage of my life and have no idea how im still alive.

    I tell this trick to all my buddies that have problems putting weight on. In addition to all of your other meals, every two hours add...1 cup chocolate milk, 5 grams glutamine, 2 tablespoons udo's choice oil, 1 scoop whey protein.

    a tablespoon of olive oil is 120 cals and takes up no room in your stomach. perhaps you could incorporate an extra tbls into your meals.
    maybe toast a slice of whole wheat bread by frying it in olive oil *shrug*

    what did you eat 800 calories of? try smaller meals, more often. your stomach will stretch and get used to the amount of food you give it. also, after you eat do not get up and start being active, sit around and let it digest to prevent indigestion.

    get more calorie dense foods. peanut butter, various nuts, raisins, etc. basically, food that has a ton of calories but doesnt fill you up as much.

    800 calories of salad maybe, hell I can eat a 1000 calorie meatball sub every 3 hours no problem
