I still go out to eat often and usually can stay within my macros as long as I care. Sometime I hit up deepdish pizza or 1/2lb burger though and could care less.

    Breakfast:
    - If at some sort of sit-down restaurant I usually get an egg-white omelete with cheese, meat, and veggies inside. I'll usually skip the side of pancakes or hashbrowns and go with oatmeal or whole grain toast.
    - If eating on-the-go I usually stop at Starbuck's for their reduced fat turkey bacon sandwich. It's pretty low in cals, only 6g fat, and has over 20g protein. That paired with a coffee usually holds me over for an hour or two. If I'm really hungry I get their oatmeal, which is actually really good. Pretty heavy on carbs if you get both, but mostly all good carbs.

    Lunch:
    - If I am eating at a nicer restaurant it's either a salad with some sort of grilled chicken or a meaty sandwich that does not have fried food involved.
    - If I need some casual and fast it's usually (1) subway 6" with extra meat or (2) chipotle burrito bol or salad. Off all which are pretty solid on macros.

    Dinner:
    - If at a restuarant I'll either do steak with rice and veggies, or chicken breast with the same.
    - On-the-go is usually same options as lunch.

I find that when you eat out, resturants like to hide A LOT, and I mean, A LOT of fat in their dishes... Certainly more than you'd expect. Thus, if they're going to try to hide tons of fat in my dish, I am going to try and choose a meal that is lower on carbs so at least I can stay high fat, high protein, low carb.

This is something I wanted to see. :bigthumb:

I need to start eating breakfast, but im always in a rush. Usaully stopping at startbucks and grabbing a coffee. I will deff try out the turkey sandwich.

For lunch I usually go to chipotle or moes(chipotle), moes just recently started offereing wheat wraps, so I usually get a burrito with the rice/ black beans/chicken/cheese.

Dinner usually consist of sushi or pei wei. Pei wei is an express pf changs and offers brown rice and chicken/shrimp with all there entrees.

Honestly? I wouldn't. I'm picky, I only eat out when we go to high-end restaurants. I *would* however buy a whole shitload more seafood to cook if I had more money.

The problem with the burritos is that the carbs add up fast. A burrito from Chipotle is like 140g of carbs... Most of it, high GI carbs.

At Chipotle I opt for the bol (same stuff, just no tortilla) or the salad, which is all on a bed of lettuce, no rice or tortilla. The salad only has like 30g carbs (all from the beans and salsa). I usually get that with double meat. It's like 700 cals, 35g fat, 30g carbs, 80g protein.

As for Starbucks, if you need protein, that sandwich is best. It taste decent and is pretty good macro-wise.

Also, when it's not tit-slicingly cold out anymore, you can get the chocolate/banana vivano. Low fat and you can ask for an extra scoop of whey protien. It's damn tasty and fills you up for an hour or two.

I go out to eat for social reasons, with school and work lately I have no time for friends/family. So when I get a break its nice to knock out two birds with one stone.

I wouldnt go out to eat and eat something like an egg white omelet or a low carb meal. I go out to eat to enjoy good food, not to be picky and ask "scuse me miss, how many carbs are in dish #4?".

Waste of money, time, and everything else.

I will only eat five guys as a cheat meal, if that. I feel greasy and fat just being in there. But the fries are the shit.
