I'm pissed off that I get punished for going to the grocery store and only picking up good food.

I buy stuff usually like milk, gallons of gatorade, yogurt, protein bars, 93% lean ground beef, chicken breasts, fruit, and pasta. Lots of everything.

    $108 today :hs:

In the meantime a 2 liter of coke costs .99 cents while a gallon of gatorade costs $4.50. Ice cream is $4 and is buy one get one free while protein bars are $2 a piece. Lean ground beef is $6 per pound but 80/20 is half of that.

No wonder there's an obesity epidemic in this country, it's so much cheaper to eat like shit :hs:

What do you guys usually spend? I'm bulking so my grocery bill is probably a bit higher than it normally would be.

mix dextrose with water > gatorade. Plus you can measure the amount of glucose you want in a drink.
Tuna and ON Whey is cheap as hell aswell.

false. tuna and eggs are extremely cheap for the amount of protein you get.

oatmeal, very cheap when compared to other carbs, and very nutritious.

fruits and vegetables arent very expensive at all.

chicken when bought in bulk is reasonable.

wheat bread is cheap as well.

Is playing a couple games a weekend totally detrimental to your health? :hsugh: I haven't been wasted in I don't know how long, but I will never pass down the occasional beer.

I dont really find it to be an advantage to "win" games like beer pong or quarters. the guy winning may think he is a badass, but in the end, who is really winning?

Gatorade isn't that great unless you're an endurance athlete

powerade powder is dextrose where gatorade is sucrose I think.

I don't spend too much on food, but eat healthy. I spend about $50 for two weeks worth of food.

    eggs
    tuna
    Oats
    Brown Rice
    Bottom round lean red meat
boneless/skinless chicken breast(i usually get bags of 12-13 when they have buy one get one free occasionly)
    fresh veggies
bags of frozen berries to toss in my protein shake, along with oats and sugar free yogurt
    skim milk
    apples/oranges

    Thats basically all I eat.

I try to avoid processed foods as much as possible. Also avoid anything canned....WAY too much salt for my taste.

yea I'll sometimes buy the canned veggies that don't have salt added. But most of the canned veggies, and soups are all bad news IMO, because they have upwards of 2-3k mg sodium a can.

Avoiding salt in general is tough as hell, that why I try to eat fresh as often as possible.
