stage 1 20g TOTAL a day for one week.or more.... can you do it maintaining your current routine and eating the supposed 1g protein / KG body weight ratio && daily caloric intake?
can you do this and avoid binging .. hmmm.

stage 2: 20g fat a day consisting only of high good to fat ratios say mono/poly/sat 10/6/4

of course a daily log with nutritional stats for each food would do it

let's say your "good fat" would come from peanut/almond butter

1 serving and you're done for the day for fat

    good luck with that

terrible idea - low fat diets were kicked a long time ago dude

some people under estimate the fat/calories they taken in per day. i do try to aim for low values like that, and am interested if people will binge eat.

i think the low fat diet idea should be re-evaluated. 0% fat greek yogurt and tuna for protein all day should do it. you dont need to take in a serving a fat in one shot, peanut/almond butter olive oil etc can be spread through out the day

    high fiber foods :)

medeterrianian diets focus on higher good fat intake with minimal carbs

im just thinking the reverse, high carb intake being ok, but still maintaining a good fat ratio as a medeterrianian diet.

most popular low fat diets consist of bad fat ratios :squint:

Meh, why the hell would you care about what kind of fat intake your taking in, and then eat a shit load of carbs through medeterrianian food? Makes no sense.

i think its a terrible idea. fat is essential for good health (hence, essential fatty acids)

but if you wanna screw yourself go right ahead.

i did that for awhile(30gs fat). lost a grip of fat, felt real weak, and found myself light-headed, lost a big chunk off the top of all my lifts... BUUT, for cutting, it worked, and it worked well.

I don't necessarily think it was the low fat that made the diet effective for cutting as it was more the caloric restriction (keeping fats under 30gs a day will no doubt put the majority of ppl in a caloric deficit). That said I would never see it beneficial to keep fats as low as the OP said

What are you trying to achieve with this? Even lower test levels?
Prolonged calorie deficits with low fat intake is exactly what this gives you.

i dont think test levels would be affected much as long as you keep the fat ratios right

Fat ratio compared to other macros or type of fat?

20g of fat is still generally far too low... even at 1200 calorie intake.

So again, what is your goal with this approach? You never stated in your first post.

someone had linked an article on here a while back, but I can't find it... was all about how eating more fat actually helps reduce fat. ring a bell? I'm sure there's a bunch, but can someone post it if they know of it?
