eating between meals while losing weight, not looking to gain

    what do you guys normally eat between breakfat and lunch, and between lunch and dinner? i need ideas for snacking between meals. im trying to lose weight, not starve and keep my metabolism up.

    most people here don't eat 3 square meals a day, we just eat 6 meals

    make smaller meals and eat them throughout the day. have a protein source with every meal.

    I eat 6 meals a day, but if I need something between meals it's usually some almonds.

    If you're trying to lose weight, you just need to make whatever you eat that day fit into your calories for the day.

    I usually end up eating 4 meals a day lately. Breakfast, 2 throughout the day, and dinner. I count all my snacks as meals.

    chicken breast in a can. 120 calories, 26 grams of protein.

    i try to eat 4 real meals and then 1 shake and then before bed cottage cheese + natty pb

    forget eating 3 bigger meals on the whole day and do 6 smaller moderate meals. dont eat til you're full



    good snacks are natural pb + jelly sandwich, chicken breast can as mentioned, tuna, maybe a decent protein bar, protein shake, fruits. http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/stella9a.htm

    Well how about you not eat 6 (SIX) meals a day with only 250 calories..........:ugh:

    300 for breakfast
    500 for lunch
    600 for dinner
    100 for your snack

    eat apples between meals.

    I eat more like 4 meals with a lot of high-protein or otherwise healthy snacks (fruit, granola, yogurt, etc) inbetween.


    If you must snack I say stick with granola (unless you're doing low carb) or fruit. Beware of calories, but then again if you're doing sufficient exercise to be healthy anyways you shouldn't worry a whole lot about that.

    Last I checked they have nutrition facts on food.
