Ive been eating so clean, its hard for me to eat over 1k calories.

basically the only food i eat is:

tuna (with a shitload of mustard and a bit of mayo)
salmon burgers no bun or condiments or extras, just straight up)
turkey burgers (no bun or condiments or extras, just straight up)
and chicken (stiry fried with veggies)

lately ive been eating a double stack from wendys just to get my calorie count up.

Maybe its becuase my food is so extremely plain? I hate tuna, turkey burgers kinda suck, and my recipe for teryaki sucks

edit: Im trying to lose weight, but keep muscles ( dont have any, so im trying to gain). i train in MMA 4 hours a week. im 5 9 ~157-160 right now. and i eat around 90-120g protein per day. my schedules doesn't really allow me to lift.

So basically, my question is should i keep on throwing in fast food, or perhaps i should buy some protein poweder and do some scoops (im still trying to drop weight)? I would buy milk, but my roommates jack my shit and its gone in 2 days. or whats the deal?

Yeah, so when you can't get proper intake, you resort to globs of saturated and trans fats at wendy's?

sweet diet, switching to it tomorrow.

oh wait... how many carbs is that? I just read that a sustained diet of under 50g of carbs for most males affects your brain's ability to function, isn't that diet under that?

you must be eating something else otherwise you'd be wasting away and feel disgusting/shitty all the time (like other people said about carbs).

You basically have to factor EVERYTHING that goes into your body, not just the main thing you eat at a meal. Also, you SHOULD be getting carbs and fat into your diet. Eating things that are basically all protein with no carbs, fats, or other important nutrients is not good.

So what are the dangers of eating ~900 calories a day if the only time I exert myself is during running? I'm on a college campus and eat a muffin and greentea for breakfast with a multi vitamin and water throughout the day, then have a salad with chicken breast, cheese, and peppers/onions/olives/ranch (sometimes I have those wheat chip things too).

During the day I'm either: sitting in my room/class/jerking off or running (couple miles every other day).

    :dunno:

I've been running well, so it doesn't seem like I'm getting too little calories...

alright, I just read some shit... I should be eating at least 1500 calories. Problem is I get 2 meals a day on this meal plan. I'm gonna start getting some fruit at dinner to go with my salad/wheat chips and start eating egg omelet/some fruit for breakfast and instead of the muffin have a bagel for carbs.

    seems healthier :dunno:

    You will feel like shit
You will be losing muscle fast and hoarding fat like crazy
You will have terrible recovery time from exercise
You will have poor gains in whatever your goals are

Plus it's just generally unhealthy to eat nothing

I've been doing it for a week (not feeling bad) and I've run some of my best times (and longest distances), and the next day I could run again. :dunno:

I just ate a big omelet, fuit smoothie, fruit, and a bagel for breakfast (because I felt guilty about this thread) and I feel sluggish :hs:

Right a week. Give it another week and a half and just wait. You're body will go into survival mode and you will feel like shit. Your cortisol levels will begin to shoot through the roof, telling your body to store fat, catabolize muscle tissue, and your fatigue levels will increase dramatically. It's just a matter of time. And who ever designed your meal plan is fucking idiot.
