Eating before going to the Gym....

    I'm about to leave work and I'm starving. Usually I leave work and go straight to the gym, however today I would like to grab something to eat before hand. Will this fuck me up or make me puke or anything? Or should I be okay? I work legs today, and it's usually a pretty intense workout.

    If it's going to fuck with me I'd rather wait untill after the workout.

    grab some gatorade or something. i hate working out on a full stomach :barf:

    yes, you should eat before working out. if your cutting, dont eat til your fill. if your bulking, who cares. however, do let it digest for about 20min-+ before starting your workout.

    if your doing heavy lifting, eat A LOT



    and you should be eating post workout as well.

    I love eating a big mac combo from mcdonalds before ME squat/dl.

    I eat two cans of Tuna 1 hour before I work out.
    Sometimes Im late and only wait 30mins.
    If im really late I will drink whey protien sice I really dont need to wait for it to digest.

    Eating before workout is good from what I have read.
    Just dont eat a bunch of junk shit from a mini-mart or something.
    Dont eat alot and give your body time to asorb it.

    A shake and some kind of carb about 30 minutes prior to lifting

    yep, I eat 45-60 minutes b/f working out.

    Depends if I'm hungry. Being full or not does'nt really affect my workouts a great deal.

    eat....try and at least have a high carb protein shake before you goto the gym......

    the one thing i miss about not working out in the evenings is my half serving of nlarge right before a workout.

    i don't have the time or stomach to have a shake now that i work out first thing in the morning :hs:
