Is there a way to make a non-breaking space or "hard space" on this forum?

Like if i wrote Green(hardspace)Giant - It would appear as Green Giant but for wrapping and other things it would recognize it as one big unbroken word.

    any ideas?

Alt+255? Its a "blank" character in the extended ascii set. A quick test tells me that if I use it in WordPad it treats "Green Giant" as one word. (The space in "Green Giant" is the character created by holding down the ALT key then typing 255). Its basically just a non printing character.

I dunno, maybe that would work for you. Give it a shot and let us know.

I would think that editor mode would allow for that.

    :dunno:

    ItMightBeAllowedOnThisForumButIfAWordIsTooLongItIsAutomaticallyBrokenAnyway.

See the space in the line above? I didn't type that. You can make a transparent gif with the same font though :dunno:.

Thanks for your input all. On my title line of my profile the last part Napoleon.Bonaparte has the period to keep it one word so it all stays on the same line.
I tried the alt 255 but it didn't work in the editor.

Has to be alt-255 on the numeric pad. But it all depends on the fonts
