As a fan of the old cartoon it's nice to FINALLY see figures based on the old Mirage comic books.

I heard they also have black and white variants out there. Probably hard as hell to find.

I don't believe the B&W versions are available yet, they haven't even announced whether they are going to publicly available or be a con exclusive or what.

I have mike and leo, and they are awesome, they look just as good as the original prototypes did.

I'm hoping and waiting for cartoon versions of those

I grew up with the cartoons before I knew about the comics

Are there figures anywhere in the style of the first comics? Where they all had red headbands and looked like NFL linebackers?

So I've seen both those and the black and white ones, usually about $45-48 for them. Too much for me to spend on toys I won't open, but they aren't too hard to find.

The closest I can find of the art style I'm talking about is this pic of the old NES game:

It's been so many years, it'd probably be impossible to find any pictures now. The one pic I can remember from memory is of them looking 7' tall with super long headbands and were standing around in the dark. Shit, that's been almost 20 years, no wonder it's a vague memory.
