Broly crew need your help. Becouse of my school and early classes i had to switch my workout times, usually i went at 11 and it fit in my schedule perfectly, but now i have a classes that start at 8 so i have to wake up early and go to the gym in the early hours. Now i don't know really what to do, i can either wake up at 6 eat something and then hit the gym at 630 or wake up at 6 and hit the gym on empty stomach. I don't really know if going on empty stomach is gona help me, going this week without food i felt weak and got tired more easy. Am i too paranoid? should i eat something before i go to the gym??:wtc:

    EAT BEFORE THE GYM!!!

When I do lift in the morning (which I rarely do), I usually just have a shake with whey, Gatorade and blended oats.

If you don't really feel like eating, then don't. Drink a little gatorade or something, but no, it's not totally essential (here come the flames from the whey makes you hyooge crew). As long as you are eating decently throughout the day and you get in something post-workout, you'll be fine.

Main thing is make sure you warm up well for first-thing in the morning lifting.

its not about whey making you "hyooge"

It about your body being uber catabolic first thing in the morning. The gatorade will help, but some kind of protein is important as well

Still, some people just don't work out well on food first thing in the morning. In that case, better to just go do the workout and eat post-workout than to force yourself and feel bad during the training.

If you do cardio in the morning I wouldn't eat. Personally I get very crampy if I eat too close to my workout. If you feel more comfortable with a bit of food in your system I recommend that you eat half a banana. Gives you protien.

I just have to go on what works for me personally. Yet, I def. recommend hydrating before the workout. Nothing is worse than early morning cotton mouth from working out.

I've heard that too, but it's very uncomfortable for me. I need to eat something small or else I get dizzy.
