I've shot the regular witness in 9mm. This was back when they were still using the small frames, so I don't know if it's applicable to the new ones (large frames models).

My opinion of the gun was that it was..... ok. The trigger could have used a fluff and buff job, but that's hardly a big issue as the same can be said for many pistols. My biggest complaint with it, were the magazines. They seemed to have problems feeding, with several nose-down conditions and other maladies. He also couldn't get EAA to do anything about it, except offer to sell him the NEW and IMPROVED model magazines.....

I can't comment on the new ones, but was interested in a Elite Match Limited before I snapped up my CZ. I found a fair amount of info on the bigger competition forums.

And poke around there. These guns are starting to become somewhat popular for game guns, so that would probably be your best bet.

Oh, and how much was your dealer wanting for it?

It might me more economical (and better) to buy a used '75.

I can't remember now...he priced me one a while back, and my dad just brought it up again the other day. I'm thinking around $350-400.

That's a lot of gun for the price. EAA is a very well respected firearm that's got a very strong following in the competitive shooting crowd overseas (Asia, Europe, etc).
