Is there any way to burn the shows i have saved on my Comcast DVR box to a DVD? There's a firewire port on the DVR box so can i import the shows to my computer and burn them to a blank DVD? Is there a home theater DVD burner that i could just hook to the DVR box and do this instead?

Umm i HIGHLY doubt that. That firewire is not for pirate use thus they wouldnt make it capable for you to pull files. Its most for upgrades i believe. The only way you can save shit is through home made DVRs like Myth TV and high end tivo units that you can get modded or whatever.

You can do it. I've done it using the motorola dvr box I have from my cable company. You just need to search in google. I can tell you how if you have a mac.
