    is there anyway to movie video files recorded on my dvr to my computer? I mean if it uses an HD then it shouldnt be possible right?

    It depends on what DVR you have. Some let you transfer via USB, some will do the same if hacked, and others you'll have to use video cables to hook it up to your computer via a capture card/unit.
