There isn't a linux distro, I'm pretty sure people have gotten it to work through wine though . . .

Ouch- so I can't burn directly from a DVDROM to a DVDRW? I don't think I have enough free space on one of my partitions to create a 4.7GB iso, and I don't even want to know how long that would take on a 500MhZ PIII. :wtc:

I read recently that there is a linux version of Nero available. It supposed to be free for registered Nero users, but I'm sure you could find it.

Nero I'm not too worried about. It's the DVD Decrptying/shrinking software that will be problematic, evidently. :sad2:

Seriously though- aside from the workaround, is there anything else I can do?

Why do you try to do things the hardest way EVERY time?

I think I might go to albequerque... on foot. via Maine.
