It's a DVD the guy made on his Apple computer. I can watch it on my XBox 360, but it doesn't even show up as a file on my PC. Any advice?

Uhhh, that's not right. If anything, it should show up and say something like 'disk unreadable' or 'no data' or something of the sorts if its a format problem. Beats me what it could be.

Edit: Can you play other dvd's in your computer?

It may not have burned. Can you see the lines of data on the surface(the surface will have a distinct color difference between the data and the blank part of the disk if there is info on it).

It burned. Like I said I already watched it on my XBox. And also, I just tossed in The Smashing Machine DVD, and that reads fine.

He made the DVD himself on his Mac, so I assume it's a file reading problem... I guess. But it doesn't show ANY data on the disk.

You need a program to rip it off. Chances are to get a decent one your going to have to buy it. In the long run its worth the 20 bucks. Check www.download.com

Then chop it up using windows movie maker to get just your fight, then upload it to youtube.

There are dvd to .avi converters on the net, you'll have to look around for one though, I haven't used any since I formatted like 2 years ago. From there you can use programs to chop up the part you want (like windows movie maker)

I'll figure it out tomorrow. I saved all the dvd files so I can burn another copy later if I have to after returning the dvd... but I need to sleep for my seminar tomorrow. :o
