dvd --> computer help

    Ok, I have a dvd/movie I want to save to my computer. Can anyone help me out with this? I am a total newb when it comes to this. I want to get whatever I save to my computer onto my zune, but I first have to get it to my computer!!!

    O really? I own the real thing, not a copy. I thought it was perfectly legal!

    It is, as long as it's for personal use.

    Although the Zune may give you the finger.

    Intervideo DVDCopy for rip
    not sure on conversion program (I'm usually going to DVD from other formats)

    it is *not* legal regardless of "personal use" if you have to break the encryption.

    Bottom line, any movie you buy off the shelf (or somehow otherwise obtain) is not going to be legally copied.
