Today I was upped my rep of dumbbell flat benching to 80's but my shoulder started hurting like crazy. When I used to do 75 it was completely fine and pain free but now I have to cut my sets because of the pain. Arent dumbbells supposed to be better at not injuring your shoulder as compared bar benching. Any advice on how I should proceed? Perhaps maybe stop being a pussy and working through the pain or maybe working out shoulders first a little more?
