I'm just curious which anime you guys think were dubbed pretty well?

I know everyone is going to say Cowboy Bebop.

Eureka Seven and Yu Yu Hakusho are two animes that I thought were dubbed pretty well (for the most part).

in most cases i prefer watching the jap audio though on occasion i come across some with quality dubbing. there are the obvious ones such as bebop, champloo, trigun, tenchi, fma, and a bunch of others but there might be a bit of a bias since i saw them dubbed first.

anyways if i recall correctly rahxephon, rod, azumanga, excel, golden boy, gantz, flcl, and kenshin tv were pretty good... or good enough for me to watch them dubbed instead of subbed.

none, but then again we probably all dislike dubs because we watch all anime through japanese audio first. So most likely we have a standard when it comes to americans trying to depict the emotional side of each character.

When it comes to video games they have done good job it with it. most notably Valkyrie Profile 2 : Silmeria

Many of these I simply find unwatchable in Japanese.

Azumanga Daioh (pleasant surprise, couldn't care less about the southern accent - I still prefer it in Japanese)
    Akira (both versions)
    Big O
    Cowboy Bebop
Dragon Ball Z (Ocean Group only)
    Escaflowne
    Evangelion
    FLCL
    Full Metal Alchemist
Golden Boy (possibly the greatest dub ever)
    Gundam 08th MS Team
    Kare Kano
    Lodoss War
Macross (Robotech dub acting is quite good as is the casting, just ignore Minmay's singing. Aside from Minmay the casting of the new dub is too hard for me to get into after Robotech)
    Macross Plus
    Maison Ikkoku
    Ranma 1/2
    Ninja Scroll
    Samurai Champloo
    Trigun
    Vampire Hunter D (both films)

Numerous Miyazaki films (the old Cagliostro is my favorite, so much better than the Lupin series or new Cagliostro dub)

Lots of old school anime from the 1980s recieved excellent dubs, anything the Ocean Group dubs is also generally good.

Lol yeah, Osaka with a country accent.

The only dubbed i liked was from the short film in Robot Carnival : A Tale of Two Robots.

The original Streamline release? Everything Streamline released back in the day was dubbed well.
