    Will there be any advantage?
    Just to clarify I meant connect to two different networks.

    Just connecting to two networks won't really do anything - you need specific hardware to load balance worth a damn, and even then you don't get much benefit unless you're multitasking the connection, ie, not much if any gain with a single download, etc.

    You would have a dedicated link to each local network though, if that's of any use to you.

    How would I connect to two different networks? Would the computer show two different adapters?

    Yes.

    You can have one for internet through a router and one for local use, say, for an entertainment/home theater LAN, for example.

    If they're both coming from one internet connection, through one piece of hardware, you're doing nothing but slowing shit down with overhead :squint:
