Yeah, go on and rub it in. I thought about getting that one, but I got the normal 19" instead.
pictures aren't loading?
We would like pictures please.
Don't post so many pictures next time
I saw this bumped and expected pictures ... I'm disappointed.
Too bad you didn't buy a camera first.
Widescreen is the only way to go now.
As long as you can afford the extra pixels, yeah. If you buy the same number of pixels in widescreen format, you're getting gipped on height.
True, but I love the width and just couldn't go back. So much space for applications and you appreciate it when you sit back to watch a movie or TV show etc.
It works well for movies, but there are plenty of apps that can be used vertically as well as horizontally (window aspect ratio, that is), and so the number of pixels is really what matters. In the case of MS Office specifically, vertical space is just as important as, if not more important than, horizontal space. In that case, a widescreen is only better if the vertical resolution is the same or higher than your old screen.
That said, widescreen is sexy, yes.
meh for duals I'll stick to traditional aspect ratio...
my 2 samsung 20" 204 b's seem more proper then dual wide screen...
I have 2 204Bs also. 2 monitors showing 1600x1200 each is much better than two showing 1440x900 each.
A 20" widescreen is only an inch wider than a 20" 4:3, but nearly 1.5" shorter. In overall area, the 4:3 has about 12 sq. inches more than the WS. WS does have an advantage when watching 16:9 movies, but for other duties, 4:3 is better.
staples has these on saele this week for cheaper thean newegg, plus pick up a 30 off 150 coupon on ebay and they are 140, hell of a deal, thinking about picking up my 2nd
I promise I'll take pics of my dual Dell 20" wide screens if they have a good black Friday sale.
