I have a question. I'm looking into buiding a computer that has dual video cards run on an SLI board. Now my question is this:

Does the board run any ole two video cards? Or do the cards have to be specifically geared to be ran in pairs?

I'm not too into SLI, for obvious reasons, but from what i've read the 2 cards need to be identical even down to the manufacturers.

I do bleieve after the 77.72 drivers, you can SLI any two videocards without the SLI Bridge(90% of the performance of with the bridge). I do believe you can use any two identical cards ranging from 6200-700GTXs. But i am not 100% sure on this.

I'd personally wait for CrossFire to come out, it is looking to be the better technology but we won't know for sure until the first benchmarks arrive.
