I was just wondering what turbo you guys are using and the times you run?, I'm going shopping for my 2G very shortly and wanted to get some opinions on turbos.

you have a huge range of choices. We just released one we named the B-52. It's a To4b based turbo that is rated to flow 54lbs. We went with 52 for the novelty affect. Aside from that it really depends what your goals are. Being a 2g the EVOIII isn't always as good of a choice once you factor in the $200+ install kit.

I'm about to put a PT63 on my new GSX with a 4g64 so ofcourse we are looking for two different things but there is such a huge varierty, i think we alone offer over 20 different Bolt-on DSM turbos and if you have an idea for one we can customize something for you too.

Shoot me a PM if you have any questions or e-mail me [email protected]

there are just better forums for questions like this. Check out dsmtuners. Or if you want to see 1/4 mile times w/ which turbos they used, go to times.dsm.org

It's a garret t3/t4 50 trim .63 ar with stage 3 wheels, got it and the manifold for 1000 cdn, thinks thats pretty good for a slightly used turbo

Basically for a real fast street machine that still spools reasonably quick, go with a big 16g or an FP Green.

 That's so true. I have a coolant leak somewhere, my tranny is starting to grind in first, there's some slack in the transfer case/rear diff somewhere, my struts are blown, the bottom of my radiator is starting to rust out. I have a MBC sitting in the glovebox, waiting to go on, but I'm afraid I'll bust something when I get boost happy.

Since it was like -15 degrees this morning, on my way to work I saw some steam coming from the front of my hood. It wasn't a dark smoke like an oil leak, but I'll catch a glimpse of it when the wind blows at it when I'm at a stoplight. So after getting to work, I park it and pop the hood. It's coming from the driver's side, right under the timing belt/engine mount.

I'm betting it's the water pump gasket. :sadwavey: I'm almost due for a timing belt job, so I'll have to do the entire front case when I'm in there.
