Stealth/3000GT, both are teh same car but I for one, prefer the Staelth's body lines. I remember there was a revival of the Smokey and the Bandit as a tv show and the car was a Stealth instead of a TransAm. However, while doing a search for this show, I came up with nothing. Anyone know about this show on FOX? It was short lived and came out before Viper.

I remember that it was shown during an afternoon block of series of shows like Knight Rider 2020 and Tek War.

    It CAN"T be Bandt II

I guess thats it. I just remember the commericals and the guy driving a Black Stealth instead of a TA.

I used to watch that show all the time just because of the stealth, back then i really wanted a 3000gt vr-4. There was also this martial arts series in the same "action pack" block that I thought was pretty good, I think it was called Vanishing Son. Russel Wong and Ming Na were in it.

Knight Rider 2000 also used a Dodge Stealth.

Funny how both TAs got replaced with Stealths.

Honestly, I prefer the design of the Stealth over the GTO/3000GT. It reminds me a lot of a S15 Silvia from the side. Sure, it bloated and heavy but a Stealth makes a great GT/wangan car.

I think the Hybrid 3/S' look great. 3000GT with Stealth skirts, or vise versa, when the two cars are crossed they look even better. I personally prefer the 99 VR4 over any of the stealths

I think the 1g stealth sideskirts look MUCH better than the 2g skirts. 2g's are so bland.

BTW, the stealth wasn't a dsm. just nitpicking.

It wasn't a joint mitsu/chrysler design, it wasn't produced at a joint mitsu/chrysler plant, and it doesn't have the joint mitsu/chrysler DSM badge under the hood. I'm not trying to be a jackass about it, but it really doesn't fit any definition of a DSM.

So, it was completely designed in Japan by Mitsubishi? It was made in Japan and imported to the US? I don't think you're being a jackass about it. I seriously didn't know why the Stealth was not considered a DSM while the others were.

Yeah, the stealth was designed 100% by mitsubishi, and assembled 100% in Nagoya, Japan, in Mitsu's plant there. I can go take a picture of my car's door jamb sticker if you want to see it.

I used to have pictures of a shitload of stealths being loaded onto and off of a japanese container ship. It was pretty cool.
