What do you guys use for your CF card readers? How long does it take you to download 1GB of photos from your cards?

Mine sucks ... it seems soo slow. I upgraded to a sandisk Ultra II 2GB card thinking that would help it ... it didn't (I can take a shit load more pics at once in sport mode though).

    You're using a 1.1 reader or a 2.0 reader?

that's what I have too. anything USB 2.0 is probably your best bet. if the device doesn't say USB 2.0 on the label, it's probably not 2.0.

Sandisk extreme USB 2.0 reader. $20 @ B&H. MUCH faster than getting it off the camera like I used to.

Built-in card reader in my Gateway tower, it's slow as balls. 200 pics takes about 10 minutes or so at full res.

I bought a cheap $7 card reader at Fry's. It works and I have no complaints.

I put my camera directly in, but only because I don't have firewire on my laptop.
