The Acekard 2i is a solid flash card. If you want to do more research on other cards just go to this site,

AK2i definitely the way to go.

Hey Links, do you by chance run that AKAIO firmware on it? I dont really know about it - been having probs with a game or 2 and its because I'm still using the original firmware I think. I dont really know what to do with Akaio. I went to the website once and before even entering it made me feel guilty for not knowing about it - it was like "if you're a noob you should just kill yourself now with your DSi"...or something along those lines hahaha.

Ever since I put AKAIO on my Acekard I've NEVER had a problem with a game. Here's a quick tutorial:

-Format your SD card and put this on it.
    http://filetrip.net/f10063-AKAIO-1-6-RC-2.html

Extract the _aio folder and akmenu4.nds and put those on the SD card.

    -Then download this
    http://akaio.gbatemp.net/loaders/

Make sure you get AK2/AK2i version

Extract the loader put that into _aio/ak2loader folder.

After all this you can either make a sub folder for DS games or just put the games onto your root menu.

Now go fucking play some games.

I have a R4i and it works with no problems. I've been more than happy with buying my carts from:

    http://realhotstuff.com/

They were great to deal with and everything I buy from them gets to me fast.

I run it. Mos definately better than the standard firmware. Google wiki temp akaio. PM me, i'll help. Runs great on the DSi XL. My kids love that they have a ton of games without swapping.

This thread may make me get a DSi. Another toy I will hardly use I'm sure.

    Is a DSi > PSP?

Depends how your judging it. The psp wins if you want a console on the go. GT, God of War, Tekken, Soul Caliber, and the rumors of uncharted at e3.

Dsi wins if you just want fun games. The marios, metroid, animal crossing, zelda, etc. Plus with the flash carts and romulation, you can have the entire library for free.
