Sony has longer battery life, but Canon uses SD cards

Sony is a bit cheaper, but the Canon seems to be more popular.

Why isn't SD1000 on Best Buy's website anymore?

I didn't buy yet. But I'm pretty sure I'm getting the Sony.

haha, after looking into other digital cameras, I was choosing between SD750 and A590 IS. I ended up with the A590 IS (I have it right now)

It's not as slim as the ultracompacts, but it's still pocketable which works for me (I was worried it was gonna be a fat fuck). It also uses AA batteries instead (which I like) and has better zoom. The color is sexy as hell too.

Good thing you didn't get the SD1000

They have lens errors like no others, lens motor gets misaligned inside and then stops working altogether, happened to mine, my sisters, and a friend of mine's.

It's a shame because the design and size of it is awesome :hs:
