Nothing like 440ci on a nice drive to work...I think its funny how It gets so much attention.

I absolutely LOVE how on the highway, if I punch it at 70 it takes off just as fast as if I punch it at 10 :)

    Heres a directory with pics:

the car is a unmolested survivor...It was bought new in PA, drove around NJ until 1980 when Dave (previous owner I know quite well) drove it to houston, sold it for 1500 to buy a superbird and drove the superbird back.

It is a Real R/T 440 Auto/Console Car, Options Include Power Windows, Headlight Delay, Gator Grain Top, Ledger Green Strip, Rear Sway Bar, Front Sway Bar, Power DIsc Brakes, and a few others I cant think of. Galen Govier said it would be safe to say that it is a 1 of 1 car. :)

The pics are of the day that I found the car...looks quite nicer now that it has had a full bath and the roof worked on. Chrysler didnt paint Vinyl top cars, they just glued the top down so there is NO protection for them and usually they are the rustiest of cars

Wow, it looks like it barely survived. Good job getting it and keeping it on the road.

Is it a 1 of 1 according to the engine/transmission/look of the car, or the options? What I mean is. . . my Dad owned a 1 of 1, it was a 70 Hemi Roadrunner 4 spd convertible. . . his friend owned what he liked to call a 1 of 1, it was a 70 (I think) Hemi GTX 4 spd, but it only had one headrest. . . See the difference?

By the way, I wish I could sell something for 1500 to by a Superbird!!!!

70BirdGirl, when broken down in Options, Galen said its safe to assume its a 1 of 1 car, BUT he wont stand by that unless I pay him a few hundred bux to certify the car. Im not a big fan of him though.

Do you ever go to www.moparts.com ?? if so, whats your screen name there?

Hey i'm new here. Nice ride shanker. I have a 70' challenger 4 speed that i just put a 440 in. It's not much of a looker yet, but it's something to work with. Moparts is a really helpful site, I don't post there though.
