I drive from San Francisco to San Diego and back pretty often, and damn it can get seriously boring. This time i was finding anything to amuse myself so i started taking video along the way. Here's what i ended up w/:

I'm no movie/film maker by any means, nor am i trying to become one. So excuse me if it's not up to par w/ some of the video guys on here. I was just havin' a little fun and messing around w/ software that i don't really know how to use.

Oooooh, I know how you feel. My friend and I drove from Tustin, which is about 40 mins south of LA, to San Francisco and back in one day. We got a bubble in the tire on the way there so we had to drive like 20 mins off the highway in the middle of nowhere to get a new one. Crazy long trip but it was the day before my flight to NY and I wanted to shoot in San Francisco.

2 weeks ago i drove from atlanta to kc straight through without switching drivers (my g/f drove 3 hours or so on the way down). that was a long fucking drive, and i'm going to be doing it the drive down and back in about a month. :o standup cd's really help pass the time, moreso than music even.

I was expecting to see a time-lapse of the entire trip.

    nope, M3

    yup.

This idea didn't really come to me till 2/3 of the way through the drive. However, I'd love to try that sometime. I'll have to figure out a mount, figure out a power solution and get a REALLY big SD card.
